Lamar Peters is New York’s top Elvis tribute artist and the first Elvis tribute artist to perform at B.B. King Blues Club in New York City.
Lamar has toured with the Heart of the King Ambassadors Show Production and has placed top 3 in the Ultimate Elvis Presley tribute contest sponsored by Elvis Presley Enterprises.
The fast paced Ultimate Elvis Tribute Show, takes you back to the best of 1950’s Elvis rockabilly through the 60’s, and 70’s of Elvis Presley’s career.
He is a second generation tribute artist who, like his father Gregg Peters, is very well versed in different aspects of music.
After 10 years of performing, Lamar came up with a brand new show concept called “The Tribute Show”.
The show gives you a different look at other artists including Michael Bublé, Sam Cooke, Johnny Cash, Buddy Holly, Frank Sinatra, Tom Jones, and many more within the 2 hour review. Lamar’s show also includes his own original songs.
Growing up in a family of musical influence, it was certain that Lamar would be running against the grain to show the world his talent.
The venues that Lamar plays at range from the smallest stage to the biggest theaters. One of the largest audiences he attracted and performed for was at the Harry Chapin Theater in New York for over 10,000 people and a repeat performance the following year for over 8,000 people. Lamar has played in many notable venues including Oheka Castle, Empire State Building, Hofstra University, LaGuardia Plaza Hotel, Casinos and more.
Lamar has won many awards and currently holds the title of 2019’s Bethpage Best of the BORO Best Cover Band. Lamar is a premier Tribute Artist paying tribute to over 100 different artists in his shows.
